Abstract


Reports a trial of this glue [cf. FA 33, 5282] on a factory scale for preparing 'Type II' 3-ply panels of Betula alleghaniensis, with cores of the same or of Pinus taeda. Results showed that hot-press times could be reduced to 2 min, with improved productivity. Factory hygiene was greatly improved owing to the absence of fumes.
