Abstract: The effectiveness of the mechanism regulating the grain market in Ukraine and the suggestions for its improvement evaluated in this paper. The comparative analysis of domestic support for wheat production in Ukraine and foreign countries is made, the main exporters of this product are determined. The relevant conclusions analyses are formulated.
