Mt Kinabalu Summit 8.0km to 8.5km (South Peak)

While walking up toward Low's Peak, I turned back and look at South Peak. I saw this symbolic view of Mount Kinabalu's summit. Feature of South Peak appears in many photo and sometimes we mistaken South Peak in the photo as the highest peak of Mount Kinabalu.

South Peak
The panoramic view of Mount Kinabalu summit is extremely stunning. Photo of a limited frame length simply cannot capture the grandiose horizontal width and the crystal clear air of the plateau.

Do you notice the background blue & green landscape at foot of the mountain? Or the slanting rocky face of the plateau?
