MOSCOW - Available in standard and premium, Sveza Group has launched its new Parquet plywood. Sveza says it is the first company among plywood manufacturers to offer parquet producers a special-purpose product that completely satisfies their requirements of optimum moisture level, tight thickness tolerance, and superior strength properties.
Supplied in bundles, wrapped in film, and covered with a plywood facing on top, Sveza Parquet standard plywood is made of 100 percent birch raw materials and is produced using WBP glue, and complies with the stringent requirements for thickness and moisture content.
With a bonding strength achieved by using selected veneers with minimum defects for the inner layers of the plywood, Sveza Parquet Premium plywood is intended for luxury engineered flooring producers.
"Luxury parquet is used in major image-building projects where any defect can lead to significant financial and reputation losses," said Natalya Bugayskaya, furniture/interior segment manager. "To guarantee our customers a high quality product, Sveza performs regular tests developed in cooperation with parquet manufacturers."
Sveza says the use of its Parquet plywood ensures the best performance of the finished product and lower manufacturing costs.
Operating in Russia since 1997, Sveza Group's birch plywood is used in the construction of high-rise buildings and Olympic facilities; in the manufacturing of long-haul trailers, high-speed trains, and LNG carriers; and in the production of environmentally friendly furniture and modern interiors.
