We manage many research studies that we have measured for well over three decades, a few that we have measured for more than seventy years, and more recent studies. These records have great potential to help us determine whether recent climate changes have impacted forest growth and mortality, leading to improved confidence in potential future impacts. We also maintain long-term records of forest change in two nationally important remnant old-growth forests, the Tionesta Scenic and Research Natural Area (record begun in 1942) and the Hearts Content National Natural Landmark (record begun in 1928).
