Abstract
The results of radiocarbon dating of coral, wood and marine mollusca from raised beaches around Taiwan indicate a regular geographic shift of Tectonic movements during the Holocene. A progressive southward migration of the locus of crustal upwarping is demonstrated over a distance of 380 km within a period of about 3,500 years.
