Abstract
Develop the design and carry out production of furniture prototypes with reforestation wood use with emphasis on application of methodology related to the eco design and analysis of the local supply. Assuming that one of the current demands of society refers to the production and responsible consumption of innovative products incorporating sustainability concepts in their life cycle, this project will be used renewable source of material extracted from the company's own cultivation and define based guidelines eco design principles in order to understand the main projective challenges for the development of sustainable furniture. Through this research project, we hope to contribute to the expansion of practical knowledge on sustainable product development in a real situation production line. It is understood that this project is not limited only to the fact of knowing and overcome the barriers tha hold the realization of products with sustainable principles of production, but also cooperate locally with a global scope of the effort to increase conscious consumption practices.
